If the action has not been implemented yet, please only complete the relevant sections. i
Action status
In place : Action with an established method of financing, concrete applications in
the field already in place, which may have been subject to evaluation or follow-up.
Year 3 and beyond. The corridor meets the IUCN definition of an ecological corridor,
"a clearly defined geographical space that is governed and managed over the long
term to maintain or restore effective ecological connectivity".
In progress : Action in the development phase, with several measures underway
in the field, in search of additional funding. The action corresponds or is in the
process of corresponding to the IUCN definition of ecological corridor presented
above.
Emerging : Action not yet established in the field, in the preliminary
development phase (defining the area of action, finding partners, seeking funding,
setting up the action): year 0 to 1. The action is not yet recognized by legal or other
effective means, but should be in the future.
Area at stake : Areas where connectivity is an issue for one or more animal
species, as evidenced by the presence of a known natural migration route, or the
movement of species described in scientific literature or a research program. This
area does not yet contain any corridor action, yet the existence of migration routes
indicates a connectivity issue for species.
